Removals

All Services include:

  • Access via the roof where possible to minimize the chance of any contamination entering your home.
  • All removed insulation is taken away for tipping.
  • Disposal costs are included at a waste management facility.
  • Roof report - We notify you of any issues requiring maintenance like sagging ceilings, broken roof tiles etc.

Basic Insulation Removal: This is our economy service. We remove, bag and dispose of the batts, foil or polystyrene insulation.

Insulation Removal with Vacuum: Batts are either bagged and removed or fed into our high powered 100mm vacuum along with an overall vacuum of the ceiling area.

Cellulose Removal Vacuum: Loose fill paper insulation is removed with our high powered 100mm vacuum.

Dust Vacuum: This is not normally needed as our 100mm vacuum removes around 98% of ceiling dust but for a seriously clean ceiling we can follow up with our HEPA filtered vacuum. This can get into smaller areas for thorough dust removals and where cleaning of other structural areas in the roof is required.

Rubbish Removal: Over the years the roofspace is a dumping ground for every tradesman who's worked up there. We find old timber, discarded wiring, nails, tiles, bricks, cable reels, rat baits and all sorts of packaging. While the vacuum does remove a lot of the lighter material some of the heavier and items are left behind. This service is an add on to our vacuum based removals.

Products We Install

Glasswool is relatively cost-effective insulation and is the most popular choice for wall and ceiling insulation in buildings and homes.

This type of insulation, which has been manufactured in Australia for more than half a century, is made from actual recycled glass which is bonded with a thermosetting resin. It is spun like fairy floss to create millions of air pockets which impede the flow of heat through the product. As per AS 3999 standards, it is non-combustible and safe to use with halogen downlights.
